Welcome to German Daggers Dot Com and German Uniforms Dot Com!
This website was started to provide a community for
German Militaria enthusiasts to share our hobby with like-minded collectors. Here
you can come to learn, share your knowledge, as well as buy, sell, and trade German
daggers. Because we want this place to be a safe community, we ask our
community members to subscribe to a simple set of rules. They're simple, and we
ask that you take the time to read them and take them to heart. Thanks!
- No-Nazis Policy
Hitler's Nazi machine slaughtered over 12 million Jews, homosexuals, gypsies,
political enemies, and dissident Christians. This is a dark spot on human history.
German Daggers Dot Com is dedicated to promoting and expanding the German Military
Antique collecting hobby. We do not support, sympathize, promote, or tolerate
pro-Nazi statements or ideas. We prohibit statements that, in our sole
descretion, may glorify the ideals of Nazi Germany. We reserve the right to edit and
delete posts that conflict with this policy. Failure to adhere to this policy is
grounds for expulsion from our community.
- Truth in Advertising
The strength of our community is our commitment to the highest standards of ethical
behavior. We ask that you represent every military antique in the most honest light
possible. It's that simple. If you are selling a piece through one of our many
sales venues, we ask that you seek to grade it correctly, mention any restoration work
that may have been done on an item, and provide any information you may have about your
piece that you feel the buyer would want to know.
- The Forum
Although more detailed rules can be found in the Forum FAQs, the code of conduct on
the Forum can be summarized in 3 words: The Golden Rule - Do unto others as you would have
them do unto you. Be nice, and in borderline cases, give people the benefit of the
doubt. Also, please read our disclaimer.
- Our Guarantee
First, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of opinions expressed by forum moderators,
members, and guests. We can promise that we will do our best to seek as
leaders those members of our community that have both the experience and knowledge to
guide us in the pursuit of military antiques. Second, although we screen our
advertisers carefully, we cannot guarantee the goods and services they offer. Third,
although we will take immediate action to rebuke or remove those members who violate our
policies, we cannot guarantee that everyone who participates in our forum, the auctions,
and the classifieds will behave in a manner that is fitting and proper. We urge
you to take care in choosing those members with whom you conduct hobby business with.

Frequently Asked
Questions
- Is registration separate for the
classifieds, and the forum?
Yes. Because each service uses a distinct software suite, you must register for each
part of our community separately. In the future, we will attempt to integrate the
membership lists. Until that time, we suggest that you use the same password for
each registration. This will make our community an easy place to navigate.

- How Do I Post a Photo in the Forum?
If you have access to your own webspace, you may wish to upload your pictures to that
space. Then, using eithe HTML or UBB Code, you can insert photos directly into the
text of a post on the forum. If you do not have webspace of your own, you may use
our automatic picture upload service. This allows you to post smaller pictures
directly into a post - right from your hard-drive. At this time, this service is
free. However, based upon bandwidth usage, we may begin charging a modest fee for
the privilage of using our automatic picture upload service.
- Should I email administrators and moderators?
Using "the chain of command" helps moderators and administrators focus on making
the site a better place to spend time. Therefore, we urge all members and guests to
"start at the bottom." Unless you have a question that requires private
and confidential consideration, please use the forum to ask all questions related to
collecting. If you have a technical problem and require assistance, please use the
FAQ or Help section provided in the forum, and the classifieds areas.
If you cannot find the answer to your question, you should email the moderator of a
particular forum, or customer service for that particular area. If you still have
trouble, you may, as a last resort, contact the site administrators (Vern Bryant or Dave Hohaus).
