Miniature Dagger Guide

This is an identification guide for the different types of miniature daggers produced in Germany from 1933 until 1945. These miniature daggers are broken into 2 types, the 3/4 size and 1/2 size. Usually, the 1/2 size miniatures measure 8" or smaller. They are marked for Horster, Eickhorn, WKC, Wusthof, or other makers. The 3/4 size miniatures are usually over 9" long, except for the RAD Officer model which measures 8 1/4". They are marked for Alcoso or SMF. Both types can be found with no maker mark or with a distributor's mark. Unless otherwise noted, all photographs are of original authentic items of the period. This guide is for identification only. To correctly authenticate an item, it's size, weight, composition, and construction details must be examined. If anyone has questions or suggestions, please contact Vern@GermanDaggers.com.
